Essex MyBand at Becket Keys C of E School

MyBand at Becket Keys C of E School is the MyBand course with the widest age range. It’s also the place where the bands like to play LOUD!! The standard is very high. The older students have progressed from writing to actually performing. We are very proud that MyBand was the catalyst for long term friendship and the formation of a band that have stuck together. The results are there to hear and see. The younger students, equally have developed a confidence in their writing and playing. Hats off to the parents who bring their kids all the way from Colchester. James, Eric and I ran the sessions. We covered Superstition, by Stevie Wonder and Addicted to Love, by Robert Palmer. The performance was packed with family and friends. It’s wonderful for the kids to have that support. One day to write and record a song. Well done indeed!
